Uncle Karma (1993)

Corey - keyboards, vocals

John - drums, kilt

JAG - guitar, engineering

Craig Chin - bass

Taking the 'art rock' tag a little too far resulted in Uncle Karma. Short pop songs were interspersed between 15 minute explorations of sound. Lots of droning keyboards and floating 'cloud' effects on guitar with fretless bass and drums. More Pink Floyd comparisons are appropriate here. The drummer put his electric drum kit on my couch to stifle the sound of the bass drum thru the floor of my apartment. We often recorded live jams and mixed them as we were playing, then took the tapes to the local community cable access TV station and created live videos the same night.
