Gutbucket Suitcase Bass Drums
Suitcase bass drums go way back, many Chicago blues artists played as a one man band with a suitcase bass drum and an acoustic or electric guitar. The tradition continues today with hundreds of music acts of every style using suitcase bass drums. There are so many that a book was written about one man bands:
With bands getting paid with 1980's money, one man bands and duo and sprouting up all over the planet. A suitcase bass drum gives you the full sound of a band (add in a looper pedal and you're REALLY cooking with gas.
This is just what it looks like: a bass drum made out of a suitcase! You supply the foot pedal and away you go! Put a mic inside with a pillow or use an external bass drum mic. I've been using mine for twelve years and they sound great!
The stand fits inside the suitcase for easy setup, just drop the suitcase into the stand and you're ready to go!
