Pickup inside, just plug a regular guitar cord into it!

Plug it into your bass amp or PA and just stomp on it! (guitar amps are not recommended as this produces a nice deep bass thump)

Excellent for recording:

I use it to record guitar and drums at the same time - live, no need for a drum machine or samples. This also allows you to vary the tempo and record live, then add more tracks later without having to re-record the drums which is EXTREMELY difficult to do after one percussion track is recorded. I often record several guitar/boogie board tracks in one night, then go back and add bass, vocals, lead, etc... later.

Notice the first half is a bass sound, the second half is more treble sounding. You can rotate the Boogie Board and stomp on the other side to alter the tone.
