Can you play your cigar box guitars acoustically?

Sure! They aren't a loud as a traditional acoustic guitar due to the small resonating cavity of the cigar box. They are fantastic for recording acoustically as well, just put a mic up to them near the bridge and you'll get a fantastic slide tone.

For live gigs you'll need to mic it or use the built in hand wound pickup (single coil).
